Those certainly look like Lidos inside and out, so just a name change?

- Poser put forth - on some 755A the EIA manufacturer code is 502 - anybody know who this is?

Opinion is only as valid as its verifiable supporting evidence.
It's an old RTMA code, which became EIA, so wonder why it and many others disappeared from the later listings apparently beginning in '53 [bought out by another listed vendor?]: http://audiophool.com/Misc/53_RTMA_codes.pdf

Wow--those sold for $3550.00? Makes these Montereys seem like quite a value (so far--bidding isn't over) especially since these have two 402A drivers each instead of one 402A and a passive radiator in the Catalinas....

Only passive radiator Altecs i can think of off hand are Boleros and 886's.
